The Yurei Information :
In japanes believes all humans have a spirit/soul called ' Reikon'. When they die, the spirit leaves the body and wait till they get a proper funeral and post funeral rites to be performed, so they can join their ancestors,
however when a person dies a sudden death, like by suicide or murder, and their proper rites aren't performed, and they are influenced by powerfull emotions such as spite, love, jealousy, hatred, revenger or sorrow, the reikon transforms into a yurei, that makes them possoble to go back to the physical world.
The yurei, continue to exist on earth, until the spirit gets a funeral, either by performing the missing rituals or resolving the emotional conflict. when that doesn't happen, the yurei, keeps on haunting
Yūrei do not wander at random, but generally stay near a specific location, such as where they were killed or where their body lies, or follow a specific pe

Journal CSS Resources
CSS for subscribers is finally here!! Your local neighbourhood zilla is here to give a few pointers to the novice CSSers who want to give their journals a make over with a few pointers and a list of handy resources.
As a general rule it is better to keep things simple, not just if you are a beginner. Remember the following points when you design your page:
1. Mock it up Try your design in Photoshop first (or which ever app you have) that way you can play with colours and styles without needing to refresh your journal too much.
2. Just because you can, doesn't mean that you should... try to avoid making things like the text size too small. The current journal style works well, so just start simply by changing colours.
3. Contrast is good. Making the colours of your text and links the same, or very close is bad m'kay. Make it easy for people to differentiate between things. Also, making your journal text too dark on a black background or too light on a bright backgro

CSS in Journals Available For Seniors and Subscribers
If you are a senior member or a subscriber you can now try out CSS in your journal. Some of you may be familiar with some of the administrators on the site and their spiffy journals, for example, fourteenthstar, realitysquared, hexentanz, thespook ( who already has a brilliant “what not to do” journal up <a href=>here and many others.
Once this goes past beta testing it will become available for all subscribers, and of course, senior members.
Please keep in mind this is for users with an advanced knowledge of the subject.
Feel free to leave feedback here and let us know what you think and if you encounter any issues in its use pertaining to how it affects the site or your page. Please do not leave issues which are directly related to your lack of knowledge on how to use CSS  prope

-- Stock Up -- Vol. 7
I just spent a week in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Since most of that time was spent on the beach, I thought it would be nice to share some ocean stock with you. Well, isn’t an ocean shot complete in itself? Well yes, but let’s see what people have accomplished with these already beautiful shots!

Now pick up that sea shell, and see if you can hear the waves!:

Grubin's Community Project!
Hey everyone!
It seems that all this time on deviantART and I haven't even started a community project! Now, it seems that this may not be the most original idea, but I am asking every user belonging to this wonderful community to create something! I want you to use any medium you see fit to answer the following question:
"What makes you a deviant?"
There is no deadline for this project! I wish to give everyone who wishes to participate a chance to express themselves without having to rush them.
Feel free to go absolutely crazy with this one.
In order to submit an entry to this project, I ask you to upload it to your own gallery and send me a note linking to it. I will then post it into a journal entry for everyone to see!
Come on, show your community spirit and let everyone know what makes you the devious chaps you really are!
