talking to an extremly old, yet new friend on msn today, she said she liked my worked, always an ego boost that is. so we got talking and i ended up doing something to a picture of one of her friends for her, and i mentioned that i'd like to do something to her (get your mind out of gutters) so she gave me a few photos of her, she photographs beautifully... anyway i shalll try and do something to each and everyone of them..

so i was listening to cruelty and the beast while doing this, and when it came time to name it, it took its name from an instrumental track on the album... rather fitting..

about half way though, psp crashed on me, so i was left with merged layers in my clipboard, a few minor obvious things i'd love to fix, maybe someday.

Great stuff love it, I think perhaps the layer you've overlayed on top that gives the photo the creases and 'old' look is abit much.. just my personal opinion.. heh..

Fucking hell, I LOVE THIS! This is exactly what I have been experimenting with as of late, making something real aged and weathered. Anyway, very beautiful piece of art, you can actually see you getting better and better in each piece.

for some reason the head doesn't quite seem to suit the body, i think it's too small or something and there apears to be no neck... the hair also seems disjointed, but other than that i love it. the concept rocks.

thats cool man I would ahve brought the scratches down a litlte bit more like to 75 percent or something.

this is like stumbling across a frame from a snuff movie or photoshoot or something. it's got that sort of a creepy vibe to it.. no, disturbing vibe, thats a more proper way to explain it :)

might be a lil heavy on the scratch work.. other than that though, i think it looks really good. i like the soft light, the feel of low quality, and the skull face. very well done.
